We strive to offer an excellent service from initial enquiry, throughout extension wear & right up to extension removal.
To ensure your experience is a good one and to enable Emma to maintain her excellent service, clients are kindly requested to observe and follow the terms and conditions.
Consultations - These are currently free, if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, 24 hours notice must be given. No shows will be charged £10.
Coloring Own Hair After Consultation & Colour Match, Prior To Fitting - If you have altered your hair colour after your consultation you will need to return in adequate time for another colour match. If your hair has already been ordered you will be liable for additional costs incurred such as exchanging hair, postage fees, cancellation fees (If less than 24 hours notice is given).
Extension Removals - You are required to return to have your extensions professionally removed. This is a chargeable service so please ensure you are aware of the cost before proceeding with your fitting. No responsibility will be accepted for any damages to your own hair or scalp if your extensions are self removed, removed by another salon or third parties. I can also refuse to refit if there is any damage.
Extension Removal Within The Required Timescale - Specified methods should be removed within the recommended timescale. No liability will be accepted for any damages arising if worn beyond the recommended period. Please make sure you book a double removal appointment to allow enough time for any matting.
Aftercare Products - You will be recommended the correct aftercare range best suited to the method or brand of extensions you have fitted. These aftercare products must be used at all times. No liability will be accepted for problems arising with your hair extensions/bonds/beads should you fail to use the recommended products.
Aftercare Guidelines - You will be given a full explanation on how to look after and maintain your hair extensions. You will be given information relating to the method of hair extensions you have fitted. There is also comprehensive guides in my Facebook group. No responsibility will be accepted for any damage caused by failure to follow guides.
Colouring of Hair Extensions - Colouring your own hair extensions is done at your own risk, I can only advise against it. No responsibility is accepted for deterioration of the extensions, bonds or beads, even if it is carried out professionally.
Aftercare Services - A range of aftercare services are available to ensure your extensions and natural hair remains in excellent condition throughout wear - please make yourself aware of any ongoing costs and services you may need. Some methods require regular maintenance appointments, it is your responsibility to ensure you attend them.
Adverse Reaction - In the rare event that you experience an allergic reaction to the extensions and your head becomes extremely sensitive or painful, you will need to have your extensions removed. You will not be given a refund for fitting, or the cost of the hair - however, they will be removed for free. These kind of reactions become apparent very quickly, not a few months after. Should you simply change your mind or decide they are not for you, then this is non-refundable and you will be charged the standard removal cost.
Any Problems Arising - Should a problem arise, you must contact Emma as soon as possible to allow her to assess the problem and resolve it. It is extremely important to Emma to have happy, satisfied clients so she will do her upmost to resolve them. You have 14 days from your fitting appointment to contact regarding any issues, after that timeframe, no responsibility will be held.
In the rare event of a quality issue with a batch of hair, (hair is a natural organic product) the extensions will be removed and sent to the supplier for testing (there is a set timeframe for this depending on the supplier), providing all the recommended aftercare products have been used. Should a fault be found you will be offered a replacement set free of charge. Should you not accept the replacement, a refund of the hair cost will be given, but not the fitting, as this was not at fault.
Services By Other Salons - If you have your extensions cut, topped up, removed or refitted by anyone other than Emma, no responsibility will be accepted for any problems arising.
Going Abroad Wearing Extensions - Going abroad to hotter climates can have an adverse effect on your hair extensions, it is not recommended to have new extensions fitted, you do so at your own risk. They will need further aftercare and these guidelines can be found in my Facebook group. No responsibility is accepted for damage occurring or problems arising to your extensions when worn abroad.
Cancellations/Rearranging Appointments - 24 hours cancellation time is required for any appointment, failure to do so will result in 50% of your appointment being payable (or 50% of your remaining balance after your deposit being paid).
No Shows - Should you fail to attend an appointment and do not contact us, we reserve the right to request payment for the service missed and future appointments to be paid for in advance. We also reserve the right to refuse to offer you any further appointments.
Deposits - Following your consultation, should you choose to proceed and have extensions fitted, you will be required to pay a deposit. The amount will depend on the method, grade and length of hair you are having fitted. Your deposit is non-refundable. Should you need to rearrange your fitting appointment, a minimum of 24 hours notice must be given.
